Join us for an evening of bikes, boats and heritage at Lock 60 in Mont Clare.
Participants will take a tour of the canal, the locktender’s house, and Lock 60, which is the only restored, operating lock remaining of the Schuylkill Navigation System. Following the tour, they will hop onto bikes and pedal about 5 miles round-trip on the Schuylkill River Trail led by Riverbend Cycles. After the ride, the group will enjoy a picnic-like dinner before finishing the night with a kayaking loop that begins on the river and returns via the canal led by Take It Outdoors Adventures.
Must be 16 or older to participate. All events limited to 15 participants.
