Wherever you find yourself this weekend, we hope y Wherever you find yourself this weekend, we hope you’ll take some time in nature and #optoutside it’s the perfect cure for too much turkey or too many houseguests!
Have you seen these distinctive red shirts on the Have you seen these distinctive red shirts on the trail? If yes, then you've seen one of our Trail Ambassadors, volunteers that give time and energy to keep our trail safe and fun.

The goal of the SRT Ambassador program is to provide a presence on the Trail in a non-enforcement capacity. Ambassadors will provide information to trail users, record and report problems to trail managers and take an active role in servicing and promoting the trail. Ambassadors are to call 911 if needed and are never to take on law enforcement type responsibilities.

Trail Ambassadors are required to volunteer for a minimum of 8 hours a month April through October (Trail Season) to maintain their status. There is no upper limit to the number of hours. Trail hours should also be logged outside of Trail Season but are not required to maintain status in good standing.

We are so grateful to these dedicate volunteers and the time they selflessly donate to our trail. If you're interested in joining this group, you can find more information on our volunteer portal here: https://schuylkillriver.galaxydigital.com/need/detail/?need_id=567634

Thanks again to the Glaxo Volunteers for spending Thanks again to the Glaxo Volunteers for spending what would have been a dreary Monday out on the trail with us in Berks County-they put up signs, helped with a fence project, trimmed brush along the trail, and even painted over some graffiti under the 422 bridge in Douglassville!

Thanks to all who gave their time and energy
