SRG Welcomes New Vista: Miles Roberts

We are thrilled to welcome Miles Roberts as our 2026-2027 Economic Development Coordinator through the Americorps VISTA program.  Miles will be an important part of the SRG team, especially the trails team, working on grant writing, trail development, and more.  We asked few questions to get acquainted, and here’s what he had to share:

What’s your favorite section of the SRT? My favorite part is the section from Manayunk to the art museums because of the option to take Kelly or MLK drive.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go? I would travel to the UK because they have a lot of old aviation museums, racetracks, and the premier league

What are you most looking forward to in working at SRG? I’m motivated by the opportunity to help secure resources that turn ideas into real projects, ensuring that trail systems are not only built and maintained, but remain accessible and beneficial for future generations. Starting this new position is exciting because it combines my background in grant writing with work that creates a visible, lasting impact in the community.

What are you reading, watching, listening to these days? I am reading the Dune series and listening to some podcasts about bikes and right to repair.

What do you enjoy outside of work?  I enjoy playing flying games and grand strategy games. I enjoy a spirited bike ride around my neighborhood and enjoy gardening with my family.

We hope you will welcome Miles if you see him out at events or on the trail!
