To portage around the Norristown Dam, take out here and carry 0.2 mile on Water Street to the Bridgeport Access put-in (see “◊◊ Norristown Dam” for portage path and additional hazard guidance).

NOTE: The Upper Merion Boathouse docks are private property that the rowing clubs allow the paddling public to use. Be aware of rowers in the river and at their docks. Please respect their property and their uses.

Google directions end at the Frosty Falls ice cream shop on Falls View Drive in Bridgeport. Continue on past the Frosty Falls (after some ice cream?) for 0.2 mile straight along the river past the dam overlook. Falls View Drive becomes Water Street and then the Boathouse’s lane.
