To complete the vehicular portage & on-street carry around Fairmount Dam (or to start here):

1. Park
The most-convenient parking is in the kiosk surface lot on 24th Street between Walnut and Chestnut (Parking lot entrance: 39.951710, -75.179451). For Google directions, use “133 S 24th St, Philadelphia, PA 19103” (which is the house number across 24th Street from the entrance/exit of the lot).

2. Carry to Put-in
From the 24th Street lot, carry your boat south on 24th Street, up the steps onto the Walnut Street Bridge, right on the bridge toward the river, then down the steps, before crossing the river, to the Schuylkill Banks dock below the bridge on RL (39.951581,-75.18114). This carry is approximately 0.2 mile.
