ABOUT THIS EVENT: This is one of two Earth Day trail cleanups Schuylkill River Greenways is organizing in partnership with Sly Fox Brewery as part the annual SRT SPREE — a yearly celebration of the Schuylkill River Trail and SRT Ale, which benefits the trail. On April 17, we will clean trash at Riverfront Park along the trail, river and Manatawny Creek. We will also be doing maintenance along the trail.

Volunteers aged 21 & over will get a voucher for a free SRT Ale to be used at the SRT Spree Festival in Mont Clare or the Sly Fox Tastin’ Room in Pottstown.

In addition to the trail cleanups, SRT Spree events include a group bike ride, 50K relay race on the trail and a Spreekend Music Festival at Schuylkill Canal Lock 60 in Mont Clare. A portion of the proceeds from SRT Ale supports Schuylkill River Greenways by helping to promote, improve and maintain the Schuylkill River Trail. LEARN MORE
