About this Event

Join SRG for a volunteer clean-up and beautification of the Reading Gateway portion of the Schuylkill River Trail. We’ll be planting bulbs to brighten up the area and cleaning up debris from recent storms. Please register so we know how many volunteers to expect. 

Schuylkill River Greenways (SRG) will provide gloves and trash bags. We’re asking any volunteers with bulb planters and hand shovels to please bring these items to the Community Day.

SRG will give a presentation of all the work and improvements that have been completed on this section of the trail and how the community can continue to support this effort.

Volunteers will be asked to maintain social distancing during this event. Should CDC guidance change between now and the Oct. 16th event, SRG will follow any updated guidelines.
