Welcome to the 2023 SRT Opening Trails Day!

In partnership with Fork and Ale, SRG is proud to promote a trail cleanup to kick off the trail season. The area of trail that we intend on cleaning up is the called the Douglassville section and is considered one of our most popular trail use areas along the SRT. As part of the event volunteers should except to be able to clean trash up along the trail corridor, trim back vegetation, and rack/remove organic matter found on the trail surface.

Volunteers are recommend wearing long sleeves and pants, closed toed shoes, and in the case of some wet weather rain gear is highly recommended. Waivers are required for all volunteers to fill out before the work begins. If you cannot fill out the waiver online extra blank waivers will be provided on the day of the eventGloves and work tools will be provided, however, if special tools are required, please supply your own on the day of the event.

After the event Fork and Ale will offer a complementary beverage or can of beer (to age-appropriate volunteers) from New Trail Brewery, as well as brewery giveaways.

Please help us ring in the new trail season with this great opportunity and we hope to see you there!
