GREENWAYS GET TOGETHER: Meet Schuylkill River Greenways staff at Hopewell Furnace for a ranger-led tour of the rustic, historic site. The tour will take place on Feb. 22 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. There is no cost for the tour but you must provide your own transportation. We’ll meet at the Hopewell Furnace Visitor’s Center (2 Mark Bird Lane, Elverson, PA 19520) and watch a short video clip about the history of Hopewell Furnace, then take a tour of the site with a National Park Service ranger. This tour is FREE but limited to 20 registrants. SPACES MUST BE RESERVED THROUGH EVENTBRITE. To register, click the button below.

Most of the tour will be conducted outdoors. Please wear sturdy footwear and warm clothing. Since this event takes place in February, weather conditions may make visiting the park’s historic area limited. We will determine accessibility as February 22nd approaches and will notify attendees of any changes via email.
