Trail Mural Public Meeting #2
Schuylkill River Greenways in partnership with Art Fusion 19464 will create an art mural along the Schuylkill River Trail at Riverfront Park in Pottstown. We need the help of the community to complete this task. During the public meeting, volunteers will create a section of the mural through a hands-on activity. Everyone is welcome to participate, whether you have art experience or not.
Jody Wenzel, a local artist, will merge the designs created by the public with her own to create the final mural rug design. There will be a public installation event on April 27 where people can come to Pottstown Riverfront Park to participate and paint the mural. For more information, call 484-945-0200.
The trail mural is funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) and several generous individuals.
