ABOUT:
The 3,500-acre national park is the site of the 1777-78 winter encampment of George Washington’s Continental Army. The park commemorates the sacrifices and perseverance of the Revolutionary War generation and honors the ability of citizens to pull together and overcome adversity during extraordinary times.

PARKING:
Navigate to 1400 South Trooper Road, Norristown PA 19403. Then follow signs for event parking and it’s a short, easy walk along the Schuylkill River Trail to Trails on Tap. No event parking is available at the Betzwood Picnic Area.

EVENTS:
Pedal & Paddle: July 6 & July 13 from 10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Free Kayak & Bike Share: July 6 & 7 and July 13 & 14 from 2 – 5 p.m.

Celebrate the 4th of July at Valley Forge National Historical Park. Come to the park from 11am-3pm for “Patriots in the Park” – a day full of family-friendly programs including historical games, demonstrations, storytelling, tours, food and more!

BIKING:
All Trails on Tap locations are next to the Schuylkill River Trail. Find directions to the nearest stop on th2 interactive trail map: Betzwood Trailhead
