Donate onlineWe say every mile depends on YOU because it’s true! Our organization is one of many that maintains the SRT, but it is our sole responsibility to complete the trail through Berks County and Schuylkill County to its eventual terminus in Frackville! We take care of all trail miles in those counties with a small team and a limited budget and that’s where our donors and MEMBERS come in to fill the gap between federal and state grants and the actual cost of building and maintaining over 35 miles of trail. Considering that a sinkhole remediation might cost $10,000-that’s no small feat.
Schuylkill River Greenways is more than trails-we are a National and State Heritage Areas which means that the entirety of the Schuylkill River Watershed is significant to the history of our region and our county. We work to preserve and promote that history for current and future generations to explore, visit, and become stewards for its maintenance. Find our more about us at the link below:
