To complete the portage around the Norristown Dam, re-enter the river here after the 0.2 mile carry on Water Street from the Upper Merion Boathouse (see “◊◊ Norristown Dam”  for portage path and additional hazard guidance).

The put-in is only about 100 yds past the Frosty Falls ice cream shop. See map above and GPS coordinates below:
