The paddlers’ access is the small concrete boat ramp between the East Park Boathouse (Temple University) and Gillin Boathouse (Saint Joseph’s University and Prep School). Always give these rowing teams a wide berth on the water and at the docks. The Philadelphia Police Marine Unit also operates out of here, in the shadow of iconic Strawberry Mansion Bridge.
