About this Event

Ride on the Trail

The adventurous activity will begin with a 4.5 mile bike ride along the Schuylkill River Trail lead by our partner Take It Outdoors. Participants will first stop at the historic Morlatton Village for an outdoor educational tour of the 18th century buildings. Then participants will continue to Douglassville’s Ganshahawny Park to enjoy a boxed meal before paddling on the river. During your meal, you’ll learn more about Schuylkill River Greenways from one of our representatives.

Kayak Along the Schuylkill River

At Ganshahawny Park, the group will receive a brief introduction to kayaking from Take it Outdoors before paddling back to Pottstown along the Schuylkill River.
