Schedule
10 am – 11 am: Tour of the Pennypacker Mills
Meet us at the Mills at 10 a.m. for a group tour. During the American Revolutionary War, George Washington used Pennypacker Mills in the fall of 1777 as a headquarters prior to the Battle of Germantown, and it also functioned as a field hospital for injured soldiers after the battle. Pennsylvania governor, Samuel Pennypacker, made the Mills his summer home in the early 1900s, and lived there for much of his term in office (1903–1907). He was an avid collector of antiques and manuscripts, and many of these can still be found on display at the Mills, along with letters and orders written by George Washington.

11 am – 12 pm: Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy
After Pennypacker Mills, join us down the street at the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy located at 1 Skippack Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473 for a meet and greet with the PWC to learn more about who they are and what they do!
