Join SRG and Cedarville Engineering Group for the first rain garden install at Riverfront Park.
A rain garden is an area of land filled with flowering perennials and grasses which collects rain water and allows it to soak into the ground. Rain gardens help filter out pollutants in runoff and provide food and shelter for butterflies, song birds and other wildlife.
Schuylkill River Greenways is looking for volunteers to help with the install of the rain garden and general maintenance along the trail. Please register if you plan to attend so we have an accurate number of how many volunteers to expect.
