Due to some storm-related damage, the SRT will be closed between Brentwood Trailhead and Victor Emmanuel in Reading, Berks County. Please do not trespass beyond the trail closure fencing. Our crews are working on the trail and we will post an update when available.

Registration is open for the annual Schuylkill River Sojourn! Paddle for as little as one day or multiple days! The dates for this year’s Sojourn are June 18 to 24, 2022.

Enjoy the Sojourn as a family (kids 8 and up can participate) or bring a group of friends.

The Schuylkill River Sojourn is often described as summer camp since the outdoor expedition combines kayaking, camping, education, and games into one exciting adventure! The Sojourn is an annual 112-mile guided canoe/kayak trip on the Schuylkill River that begins in rural Schuylkill Haven and ends seven days later at Philadelphia’s Boathouse Row. Participants paddle 14-18 miles per day. Register for one day, any amount of individual days, or the entire week-long journey.
