Canoe launch. Until further notice, parking is not allowed anywhere along Riverfront Drive or in Riverfront Park (where Kerper’s Landing is located), but you can drop off or pick up your boat & gear along Riverfront Drive if you stay with your vehicle during drop-off/pickup. Ample street parking is available on 2nd Street, 0.3-mile east of the landing. NOTE: The shortest walk between 2nd Street and Kerper’s Landing is via Spruce Street and a footpath between the Penske Trucking and Reading Roofing properties (see map). Riverfront Park also includes a picnic pavilion, Schuylkill River Trail connection, historical interpretive signage, and Information Center in adjacent Reading Area Community College (RACC).
