Ridgewood Winery Tasting & Tour (Heritage & Hops Series)
HERITAGE & HOPS SERIES: Join Schuylkill River Greenways staff for the first Heritage & Hops event of 2019!!! Start the New Year with a tasting that also includes some history. Venturing down a slightly different path, this Heritage & Hops event will be at a local winery instead of a brewery. Ridgewood Farmstead & Winery is a Nationally Registered Historic Site and has been in some form of existence since 1725. The beautiful building and grounds are alongside the Schuylkill River and Trail. Since 2013, owners William and Tracy Smith have been producing award winning wines out of the charming location in Berks County. Join us for hors d’oeuvres, a wine tasting, and a tour of the historic property. The cost is $30 per person. The address is 2039 Philadelphia Avenue, Birdsboro, PA 19508.
