Schuylkill River Cleanup – Return of the Sojourn
Schuylkill County’s VISION is working with several partners to clean the river and riverbanks before the Annual Schuylkill River Sojourn event.
About the Event
VISION is working with the Schuylkill Haven Borough, Greater Schuylkill Haven Area Business Association, Schuylkill River Greenways, and more to clean the river and riverbanks of litter and debris. Join us on National Trails Day, June 4th, for a land and water cleanup. Trash bags and gloves will be provided. Please dress for outdoors and water. Have a kayak or canoe? Consider paddling and picking up!
Volunteers 21 and older will receive an Athletics Brewing Co non-alcoholic brew following the clean up! Under 21 can grab some fun stickers courtesy of American Hiking Society. The Return of the Sojourn is an officially registered event for American Hiking Society’s National Trails Day!
Schuylkill River Sojourn
The much-anticipated return of the Schuylkill River Sojourn to Schuylkill County is happening! Paddlers from near and far will be launching from Schuylkill River at Island Park, Schuylkill Haven on June 18th.
