Geology of the Schuylkill – Perspective from the River: This presentation will highlight features of geological and environmental interest from the perspective of a paddler traveling down the Schuylkill River from headwaters to tidewater.

• The presenter for this virtual event will be Rob Kuhlman. Kuhlman is an emeritus professor of Geology at Montgomery County Community College where he taught for 38 years. He has served on the Schuylkill River Greenways Board of Directors for a number of years. He is an active cyclist on the Schuylkill River Trail and longtime paddler of the river.

More About the Speaker Series: The Schuylkill River Greenways (SRG) Speaker Series is a lineup of virtual talks to keep the community informed about our organization and the work we are continuing, even in this very challenging crisis. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused us to close our physical office for the foreseeable future but we are still here to serve the community and share our mission. The SRG Speaker Series will include presentations about the Schuylkill River Trail, the Schuylkill River and education about the watershed and heritage area.
