ABOUT GIVING TUESDAY

#GivingTuesday is the Tuesday following Thanksgiving Day. It’s a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. Every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to give. Schuylkill River Greenways (SRG) is a nonprofit organization that builds and maintains the Schuylkill River Trail, as well as cleans the Schuylkill River. SRG would appreciate your support on this special day.

“It (the Schuylkill River Trail) is beautiful. You just feel more connected to nature and you breathe deeper,” Marie Haigh said.

Marie Haigh and her family, like many others, have found solace in nature during the very challenging COVID-19 pandemic. The Schuylkill River Trail is a resource open to the public for enjoyment, exercise and a mental reprieve. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE OF MARIE’S STORY
