Water Trail Alert:
CAUTION: A tree has fallen into the river left opening of the Titus Wing Dam (at River Mile 71.3), causing a hazardous strainer situation in this strong current. Until this hazard is removed, DO NOT attempt to run this chute! Portage on river right around the dam. (February 22, 2023)

Pawlings Road Trailhead is situated overlooking Route 422 and accessed via Pawlings Road only. Montgomery County Parks & Heritage Services and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia developed this trailhead. The trailhead provides local residents and visitors easy parking and access to three separate trail systems, the Schuylkill River Trail, the Perkiomen Trail and the Audubon Loop Trail. Parking for approximately 80 vehicles is available at this location. The parking lot is paved as is the SRT at this location. There is a short section with steep grade connecting the parking lot to the trail.
