Pottstown Riverfront Park Trailhead
Pottstown Riverfront Trailhead is located west of Montgomery County Community College West Campus on College Drive. Parking is available at this location. The trailhead shares its parking with Montgomery County Community College and the offices of the Schuylkill River Heritage Area, which is open Monday to Friday during normal office hours. There is parking dedicated for trail users near the Riverfront Park Pavillion. The shelter and benches were installed at the site in 2006 through the combined efforts of the Schuylkill River Heritage Area and the Pottstown Rotary Club. There is access to the river for canoes and kayaks at this location. This trailhead is managed by the Borough of Pottstown Parks and Recreation Department. Please take care crossing the railroad tracks as you enter and leave the parking lot.
Our FREE Bike Share Bike Pottstown/Bike Schuylkill is available near this location. The Schuylkill River Greenways NHA offices at 140 College Drive, which shares the parking lot with the trail head, has bikes available during regular office hours M-F 8-3:30.
