The Schuylkill Highlands is one of seven ‘Conservation Landscape Initiative’ regions in Pennsylvania,and as the name suggests, includes the Schuylkill River Watershed for the most part and the southeastern most section of the Pennsylvania Highlands.
The Schuylkill Highlands Conservation Landscape Initiative,is administered by Natural Lands Trust. It integrates the inspiration and action of many local, county and state government partners, land trusts, and nonprofit organizations. The partnership devotes its attention and expertise to protecting and preserving this critical landscape in a manner that will enable its vibrant sustainable economic future.
