The Schuylkill River Greenways map is divided by Trailheads, Trail Towns and Places to Visit.
The Pottstown RiverWalk is a trail located in Riverfront Park that connects to the park’s existing Schuylkill River Trail, creating a one-mile loop trail through a wooded area and along the river. It features a series of interpretive signs that provide information about birds, woodlands, watersheds and more. The RiverWalk is a perfect spot for families and individuals to exercise in a beautiful setting, connect with nature and learn about the ecosystem surrounding the river.
It is an extension of the Schuylkill River Heritage Area’s River of Revolutions Interpretive Center, also located at 140 College Drive, in the building that serves as the Heritage Area’s headquarters. The Interpretive Center serves as a visitors’ center for the Schuylkill River Region, with family friendly displays that tell the story of the Schuylkill River region through the American, Industrial and Environmental Revolutions.
