Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education
The Schuylkill Center is the largest tract of privately owned land in the City of Philadelphia. Located on the border of Philadelphia and Montgomery County, SCEE is a wonderful place to learn about how humans, land, and wildlife impact each other. There are more than 4 miles of hiking trails of varying degrees of difficulty on the 400 acre grounds. SCEE also hosts a number of environmentally inspired art programs, a challenge course, an organic community garden, and is the home to the Green Woods Charter Elementary School. SCEE is school-group friendly.
